Neue Erde

erein begins the chronicle of Neue Erde — a gathering place for craftsmen, chroniclers and wanderers alike. These pages shall bear witness to the deeds of the first hundred, to the forging of the realm, and to the names set down in the margins of history. Placeholder text scribed in the fashion of a well-kept manuscript, to be replaced when the scriptorium is ready.

Capitulum Secundum

Of Knights & Chronicles

Marginalia illustration of two knights engaged in a sword duel
— Fig. I.  Of the duel between two sworn companions, hand-illuminated.

In the year of our chronicle, the companies of Neue Erde took up arms not in conquest, but in craft — each blow struck, each line drawn, each name inked into the ledger. What follows is placeholder text in the manner of an old manuscript, where every flourish and every rule line was set down with deliberate hand.

The scriptorium keeps its doors open to those who would inscribe their own folio. Here the margins are as important as the text itself, and the vine that climbs the border speaks as plainly as the letter it adorns.

  • Heraldry for each member — your sigil, your register, your hand in the codex.
